After a lot of consideration, we’ve decided not to move forward with Easy Peasy Video School… It’s a long story…
We thought of the idea to do Easy Peasy (then Video Marketing Made Easy) at the very end of 2021, and (like I always do) as soon as we decided to go for it, I ran full speed into creating the branding, website, youtube, getting the emails set up, got everything ready to launch the first Thursday of the new year, January 6.
Then, 8 days later on Jan 14, we heard back from a venue about a project we had started working on in August 2021 — Nolan’s game show, “Let’s Play The Game.” With a real possibility of a location to film the games, we ran full speed ahead into that venture, shot two sample games, created branding, made the pitch deck. That first venue fell through, but we were SUPER LUCKY and ended up at International Market Place, and episode 5 posted yesterday!
So we’ve been trying to manage weekly episodes of Easy Peasy, weekly episodes of the game show, actual client work, plus two kids who are now in marching band, theater AND soccer. It’s a lot. We needed to let something go for our own sanity and so we can put more focus on the things we’re keeping, and we decided to put Easy Peasy to bed…

What’s Poppin’? is the monthly email we send for Pop Creative Media, our video production business. It’s behind-the-scenes business stuff plus tips and A Word from the Beans (Emmett and Natto, our business dogs ).
And we have Nolan’s weekly email where he shares whatever’s on his mind (which is fascinating, even for me who spends all day every day with him — that guy has an inner world that boggles the mind). That’s where we share info about upcoming live tapings of his game show and anything else he has going on (Hanging Out podcast, theater, etc).
The youtube channel and facebook group will stay up, so if you have any video-related questions please post them there and we’ll do our best to help! And if anyone has a question that needs a longer explanation we’ll jump on those platforms to answer it. So join the group and/or subscribe to the youtube channel if you want to get notified if/when that happens.
